Our Vision

East Wick and Sweetwater will be home to 6 phases and will transform Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park into a vibrant part of East London.

Our vision is to create a community that connects people, with a unique neighbourhood surrounded by green spaces, activities and lasting homes.

The place to be

http://our-vision-02

Contemporary and stylish homes taking inspiration from London’s traditional Georgian and Victorian squares and terraces, looking out over parklands and waterways.

Encouraging a more sustainable way of life by featuring cycle spaces, reduced parking spaces and electric charging points for residents.

East Wick and Sweetwater provides a mix of complementary uses including commercial and retail, to create the best offer for our residents.

The big picture

East Wick and Sweetwater make up two new neighbourhoods of the five coming to the park. All to be designed around green spaces and squares and to provide much needed homes. More than a third of them will be affordable housing, with many of them built for long-term rent, as well as to buy.

Each neighbourhood will offer play areas, schools, nurseries, community spaces, health centres and shops, with places to relax, play and exercise, all within easy walking distance.

Social Value

East Wick and Sweetwater has invested to date more than £725,000 into local community initiatives, with more than £400,000 of this issued as loans and grants into grassroots charities. More than £50,000 has been awarded to support local young people, with £70,000 invested into local community activities.

"This particular area of the park means you can walk from Hackney Wick, where you’re having a beer on the canal and there is a real sense of energy, along the canal for a few minutes and feel like you’re in the country. You have all of the ingredients for what you’d want for a place to live and thrive -  fantastic open space, wonderful canals, bars and social life to enjoy. I’m jealous of those who get to live here."
